In this scene of Luther there are only two people involved, Luther himself and Alice. Luther appears to be in control of this situation as when he is talking to her close up it shows a kind of point of view camera aspects, where the camera angles of Luther are low and she is always looking up. however though saying this when she asks about his marriage he is more uncomfortable then her and she teases him. the role of who's in control mixes between the two.  the camera shots seem to show a kind of point of view camera angle, and as Luther is taller than Alice so when the point of view camera shots are happening it appears that Luther looks more dominant.

my chosen video is Anaconda by Nicki Minaj, this video consist of her and a group of about ten women dancing on poles and twerking. I think that they meant for it to be an empowerment as it is trying to be a confidence boost if you don't have the 'model body' has a completely female cast apart from at the end with drake where he is getting a lap dance from Nicki Minaj. Instead of being an empowerment it looks more degrading to the female sex as it portrays an image of just a sexual object. The reason I think that the song is aimed towards

• Gender- how does Georgie meet gender stereotypes and how she is represented as a counter-strereotype 

The typical stereo type for the army was that only big tough men could make it into the army and survive, but now there is a lot more women found in the army and doing just as good as a job. I personally if you want to be in the army and you can pass all the tests to get in you should be allowed in the army, no matter whether the are male or female.The stereotype is shown when she is screaming, whereas men in the army are never really shown to scream unless they have been shot. she is also wearing a lot of make up even though its natural looking you can still tell that make up has been applied. she challenges the stereo though by getting her hands dirty and not being bothered if there's a bit of blood, she has the mind set that this is my job and it needs doing.

• Ethnicity- 

Georgie is a part of the British army so her and her fellow soldiers are all from around Britain, but the army is fighting over in Kenya near the border. This TV programme also test stereotypes as well as even though most of the 'terrorist' are coloured and usually from LEDC's there is one of them that is a white British ember and is quite high up in the scale it seems. Even though the soldiers are out fighting and when one has been shot and is on the floor he is still sharing 'banter' with fellow soldiers, this gives off a kind of 'football lad' stereo type, even though they are thousands of miles away fem home they can still have a laugh.

A writer is the person that writes all the scripts for the movie. usually they will approach the studios and tell them there idea, but they can also be approached by the producers/ studios to write a script in a certain time period. an example of a writer is George Lucas

The producer role can vary depending on the studios, they can either find a play or novel and turn it into a film, raise the money for the film find the director and cast, watch over all of the production and master the marketing. an example of a producer is Stephan Spielberg  

• casting director

A casting director does work before the filming and everything else, as they work with the director and producer to find the perfect cast for their movie. The casting director needs to be up to date with their knowledge on peoples talents and roles, who's in at that moment in time and who's not. an example of a casting director is Mark Summers.

• director 

The director is the person who controls the making of the film, the director will read the script and then bring it to life in their vision. the director will bring the artistic and drama side to the script. an example of a film director is Wes Anderson.

• film finance

The Film finance is an aspect of film production  that occurs during the development stage prior to pre-production, and is concerned with determining the potential value of a proposed film.

• camera operator

The camera operator is the person that films the movies and captures all of the scenes, they will film the same scene but they may try it in lots of different angles so the editor has more options to make it look good. With out the camera operator all the scenes would be shot in the same angle. An example of a camera operator is Roger Deakins.

• editor

An editor is the person who has to go through all the scenes and choose the best ones for the film/ media. Some directors can average 50 'takes' per scene and on average most films are between 40 to 60 scenes long, so this means the editor has to go through days of filming. An example of an editor Walter Murch.

• production designer

The production designer is responsible for all of the visuals in the film. They design the sets, graphics, locations, costumes, props, lighting and camera angles. the production designer is responsible for the moods and themes of the visual effects. and example of a production designer Sarah Greenwood.  

• marketing

Marketing is all the advertisement for for film/ media, this can be from posters on the side of a bus to trailers on TV. marketers will study successful competitors and see what they did so they can do similar, an example of this is for the new star wars: the force awakens trailer they copied a very successful cartoon trailer. 

• exhibition

the exhibition of a film is simply when its shown, so for example the movies are first shown in the cinema and then is released into the public for purchase e.g. dvd's or internet download. This is the section for why the film was actually made, it is from this section where the money is made.

Favourite TV series

Family guy- family guy is an adult rated US comedy cartoon sketch about a twisted slapstick American family. I like the comedy and the randomness behind it this adds the humor.

Peaky blinders – peaky blinders is a historical drama based on a Birmingham gang from just after the First World War. I like the series because it always keeps me on the edge of by seat with all the action that is involved.

The Inbetweeners- the inbetweeners is a UK comedy about 4 schoolboys going through the years of later school. They later on made 2 movies. I like it because of the comedy aspect plus I could imagine some people being like the characters.

Prison break- prison break is a drama based on prison life, escaping person and surviving on the outside. The program contains lots of twists and turns which makes it difficult for them all. I like it for a similar reason to why I like ‘peaky blinder’ as it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Overall A thrilling program.

Top gear (the old one with Jeremy, James and Richard)-  top gear is a car show mixed with whacky comedy to make the show more enjoyable to watch. The trio has since left the BBC but have signed a contract with amazon.

Top 5 films

Snatch- after a “diamond the size of your fist” is stolen, it causes a lot of fights and friction between lots of different groups, from gangsters to gypsies they all want their hands on it. I like the film because of the mix of thriller and comedy, the one-liners are amazing. Overall a great film.

Dead pool – the film dead pool is about a man who is who gets  testicular cancer then goes to a lab to get cured and gets the healing power so how can re grow body parts. From being cured his side effects make his body look like he’s been burnt, for this reason he doesn’t want to return to fiancée as he believes she’ll reject him. I like the mix of the action and comedy

Super bad- is a film about 2 teens that are best friends since childhood but now they're going off to two different colleges so they want one final blowout before they leave. They are two of the ‘uncool’ guys so it is hard to get in to parties, that why they are desperate to get to this one party. Another friend steps in a gets a fake ID so they can buy drinks for the party, but nothing goes to plan. the reason for choosing this film is for the comedy and how accurate it is.
pineapple express- is a comedy/action film starring Seth Rogan and James Franco. the movie is about a couple of 'stoners' seeing something they shouldn't have seen, this causes them to have big troubles with the 'feds'. In the end everything is sorted after a huge fight with probably over 100 people dying. I like the film because of how whacky and random the film is.
The wolf of wall street- I about the life Jordan Belford (Leonardo DiCaprio) going from the bottom to the top of the scale of street brokers. once he's at the top he lives and parties likes he's on top of the world. He lives the proper rock star lifestyle, money girls parties and drugs. I like the film because of how cool of a lifestyle he lives, it is what I imagine to do if I was that rich (excluding the drugs).

Grand Theft Auto 5- This game is in my top 5 games because I am able to play with friends on an online server   but also can play it offline on my own. the possibilities to this game are endless, its like areal life experience but as you don't really care if your character dies you feel free to do any thing you would like. This game allows you to earn and send money by doing jobs/ missions or a little money by doing jobs like a taxi driver and you can spend the money on pretty much anything.

Call of duty black ops 1 - Black ops 1 is an army/ fighting game it allows you to do offline missions and also play online with opponents from across the world. The games weapons are re-make of the guns from that era. The reason I like this game is because it seems kind of realistic, the graphics aren't amazing but the game its self makes up for it.

FIFA- FIFA is a football game that allows you to play ass any team in one of the big leagues of each country; the game also allows you to create your own team to play with against friends online. I like the game because it allows you to play with the best players in the world and my favourite teams. 

Call of duty black ops 2- black ops 2 is similar to black ops 1 in the aspect that it is another war game, but this version is more modern/ futuristic than the original black ops. There are also more game modes and maps for online playing, this update makes the game more interesting for longer.

Forza motor sport- is a car racing game; the cars can mix from a ford fiesta to f1 cars. The game also has all major racing tracks like Silverstone. I like the game because the graphics are usually good and it can feel like a real racing experience if you have the accessories.

21 pilots- the band has only two members Tyler Joseph (the lead singer and keyboard player) and Josh Dun (the drummer and blows the ocasionally). The band was formed by tyler and at the time it was with Nick Tomas and Chris Salih, but in 2011 the other two members left and then Tyler was joined by Josh Dun. the songs genres can change as Tyler has the ability to rap as well as sing but the main genre is rock music.

A$AP Rocky- ASAP Rocky is apart of the 'asap mob' which consists of about 13 rappers from Harlem, New York. His genre of music is Contemporary R&B/ cloud rap, the reason i like this music is because most of the songs are chilled out and easy to listen to.

Jack U- Skrillex and Diplo have come together to create the electro house music together. both of them have been very successful in previous solo careers. Skrillex is more electro/ dub step music where as Diplo is house music, together they create a mix of the both genres and i personally think it sounds very good.

Kendrick Lamar- is kind of similar to asap rocky's music but a lot more upbeat and faster just mainly hip hop music. the reason i like kendrick lamar is again because his songs are easy to listen to, and i enjoy the songs. Kendrick Lamar is from Compton and any one who's seen the movie 'straight outta Compton' or ever heard it mentioned you don't really think its a nice place to grow up in, some of his music is about his home county Compton.

Bugzy Malone- Bugzy is a British grime artist from Manchester, England. He had his first mixtape released in 2010 but he became more mainstsream when he had 'beef' with another grime artist Chip (also known as Chipmunk).

Top 5 favorite actors

Will smith- the reason I chose will smith is because of the wide range of acting he’s able to do and do it well. The movies he’s done ranges from ‘the fresh prince of bel-air, that is a comedy, to ‘I am legend’ which is a thriller/ drama. The variety is immense and hasn’t been performed to the same standard to him in my thought before.

Leonardo DiCaprio – I have chosen Leonardo DiCaprio as all the movies I’ve seen him in I thought they have been some of the best movies I’ve watched (wolf of wall street). I think Leonardo is similar to will smith in that he can do a variety, not as wide of roles but these allow him to perfect his character as if he is the character.

Jonah hill- whatever movie I’ve seen him in he’s been hilarious in them all. Also his commitment he has to films is amazing as for his new film war dogs, over the years he’s been on a lot of diets to put it all back on.
